crazy

Hi everyone

so I have not written here in a very very long time, and I apologize to anyone who has looked for updates.

Here's what's up: I live America in 13 days, it's crazy. Crazy exciting and crazy sad.

I don't really know what to say, I haven't been up to a lot lately, just trying to soak up as much as possible with my friends.

I guess the best what to fill you in would be to show you:

Thanks to my lifesaver Rachel, Brooke and I got tickets to see John Mayer.

And it was amazing, absolutely amazing.

The guy has some serious skills, the combination between his voice and his guitar playing is just ridiculous. He could've made it with just one of the two.

Hi,

I know I haven't written in a while.

There is a very reasonable explanation for this; nothings happened.

I am quite simply just going about every day life.

I get up at 05.40, leave the house at 6.30, take the bus to school, arrive at 7 and school starts at 7.20.

I finish school at 14.25 and Rachel drives me home! I've been hanging out more with Rachel lately and we always have a good time, she's a great person.

I feel like I am constantly doing something with my friends, which is GREAT!
Just the way I like it. On Friday Brooke picked me and Cassie up and we went and saw the school basketball game for Varsity boys. After that we headed to Starbucks and then saw Kurt's soccer game.

I have been watching the Olympics too, I love the winter Olympics!

GO NORWAY!

We are number three on the medal count so far, that's not too bad.

Anyway that's about it, the coming week probably won't be too exciting. To my knowledge not much is happening, but you never know.

And btw only 11 weeks till I go home now;)

So how's it going?

I guess I can tell you a little bit about this past weekend;

Friday afternoon Brooke picked me up and we went to Liv's house to figure out what to do.

After a little while we decided to go to Cecil's Whittakers (I think that's how you spell it).

We ate ravioli and then a delicious pizza.

After we were done eating, Lexie arrived! And we headed off to Target, I don't know but somewhere during the drive between Target and the pizza place we got completely goofy.

Everything became funny for some reason!

After goofing around at Target for awhile, we headed to Clovers and had some good concrete ice cream! Then we drove to the hockey game!

Unfortunately what we didn't know is that while we were watching the game inside, it had started snowing really bad outside. And even though parents had been trying to contact us, we couldn't hear it through the crowd so we didn't know. So on our way home it was getting bad and dangerous, so we couldn't risk Olivia driving me home because the roads to my house are not to be messed with in bad conditions. Luckily Barb came and picked me up, even though it was 12 am! Thank you:)

Saturday I went ice skating with other exchange students form my organization, not that many showed up but a few; Emma(Sweden), Cassie(Australia), Linda(Finland), Katrin(Germany), Lucy(China), Pond(Thailand) and well me(Norway, UK)

After we've been ice skating Emma, Linda and I decided to have a sleepover at my house. But first we went to the Mills and did a little bit shopping and saw a really hot guy.. Yes he was actually so hot that I feel compelled to write about it here.

Then we went to Simply Thai and met up with Tracy, Tony, Sky, Lexie and baby JJ(Avery).

We ate then went to Tracy&Tony's house, hung out for awhile, played a little bit international wii.

Around ten we headed back to Imperial, but we had to get Linda's stuff in Kirkwood first and of course stop for candy! We sat up until four am, just talking. It was so much fun, I love hanging out with them. Scandinavian power ! ! !

Sunday went by way to fast. Said goodbye to Linda around two, took a shower, watched Seventeen again with Emma and Cassie. Talked to my mum :D and went out to eat, came home again and went to bed!

Memphis&New Orleans

Ok, I guess it's about time for me to write about my trip last weekend!

Friday I left school and went straight to South County Mall with Selena and her hostsister Luci.

When we got there we met up with the other STS students, the buss arrived at three.
And off we went to Memphis, Tennessee! After driving for five hours we finally arrived at the motel. I shared a room with Emma, Michela and Marie.

Michela and Marie are from Denmark, so it was Norway, Sweden and Denmark in one room.

We didn't do much after we got checked in, we talked to the girls in the room next to us and just hung out. I think we went to bed around 12.30 or something.

The next morning we got up at 7-7.30 I believe. I thought we were staying at that hotel for two days so I hadn't packed any of my stuff. But when I got down to the reception and saw that all the leaders had their bags I realized that I was wrong. So I stuffed my breakfast in my mouth and went asap to pack. We headed for Memphis around 8.30 and arrived at Graceland after a couple of hours. Before Graceland we took a quick stop at a Memphis tourist house just to get a feel of what we had in front of us.

Then it was off to Graceland, I don't have a lot to say about it. I mean it was amazing, the house was incredible, the rooms were so creative. I had no idea he had won that many awards!!

After we left Graceland we had lunch at a very typical southern restaurant called Pork'n something. There was a lot of beans, corn and barbecue saus.
Then we drove down to Jackson, Mississippi!

Drama 2

At the moment I am at school, it's fourth hour and I have Drama 2.
I'm about to learn how to use googlemaps.

Sorry that I haven't written a blog post about my trip this weekend, but I promise I will soon.
Possibly even today after school, but I may be going to the mall to find a dress for the winter dance on Saturday. I don't know if I'm going yet but we'll see!

Lady Gaga ! !

Yesterday Emma and I went to see the one and only Lady Gaga!

It was absolutely amazing, she is incredible.

I haven't had that much fun in a really long time

Jason Derulo was the second opening act, he was really good! Of course everyone got pumped when he sang Whatcha say, but when he sang around the world he actually pulled a girl up on stage. Lucky girl!
